Found this fish at approx. 12.5m depth (Samaesan area, Thailand). Moved in a twisting/erratic fashion like a sweetlip juvenile but shaped more like a wrasse... Any ideas?

Definitely not fang blenny and it was in the wrong place to be a cleaner wrasse...

I'm not 100% sure but how about juvenile Pastel Ringwrasse (Hologymnosus doliatus)?

I don't think so, to be honest.

The nearest I can find is Diproctacanthus xanthurus - but it's not an exact match and am not even sure whether they can be found in my area.

Fair enough. I can't say that I have any knowledge of fish in that part of the world. Have you considered some sort of Dottyback (Pseudochromidae)?
