im flying from singapore to clark with airasia. i had to fly to clark as airasia offer the best prices for international travel with dive and video gear.

i arrive on the 5th of may. there are no connecting flights to cebu that day and none the next day until 2030.

there are lots of flights from manila to cebu on the 5th.

could someone post details of a coach travelling from clark airport to manila??

or

i could fly from clark to another airport in the visayas and then try and get to the dive resort from there (evolution dive, malpascua)..

could someone post suitable airports i could use.

thanks guys.

If you want to travel directly from the aiport, there is an express bus by PHILTRANCO to Megamall, Ortigas center, in Metro Manila.
Getting from there to NAIA should be pretty easy, and you can ask driver.
Bus Transit Philtranco Philippines
[see bus schedules]

You can get between NAIA [Manila airport] and Angeles by way of a Pasay-Dagupan bus at:
http://www.angelfire.com/alt/fivestarbus/
http://www.victoryliner.com/schedules/

The Clark airport site http://www.dmia.ph/indexmain.htm is supposed to have this info, but not yet.

If you stay in Angeles, you can find more buses.

I have not tried [have too much gear for buses, and not so young], but can also arrange private transport via:
http://www.margaritastation.com/update.php

Evolution will also send you info if you write them.

hi thanks for the info. very helpful.

i am struggling with the timetable a little. would i be right in thinking there was a AC coach at 1300hrs on thurs to manila? it seems to be under the pampanga section, i have no idea where this is and there is no key or legend for there abbreviations..

yes i have been in contact with david and matt at evolution, they have been more than helpful. Matt advised me to seek further help on here with coaches etc as he wasn't 100% sure.

13:00hrs is a north-bound trip. You want to scroll down the box to see south-bound like 11:30 and 14:30. Bus starts from Clark [Pampanga province] and goes to Manila Megamall in Pasig:
SM Megamall | Home
Key in Google maps, Megamall. It's about 7 miles from NAIA

There are taxi bays, one each at the J. Vargas Avenue used as drop off and pick up points.

Bus lines are located fronting Mega B and EDSA, while FX terminals are located in front of the SM Supermarket entrance at Mega B, both at Bank Drive and facing EDSA.

Cab is supposed to be about 300 pesos, and much faster than bus.

For bus to NAIA:
Ride a bus in front of Megamall. Buses have sign "MIA". These buses root is EDSA > baclaran > Coastal > PAL > NAIA
Current fare most likely 50-100 pesos. I don't have exact info.

do you know the names of a few airports in the visayas i could look at? maybe flying from clark to somewhere else will be quicker.

Not really, but DMIA site lists all flights for March.
Official Website of Clark International Airport

To use properly, you'll need to decipher airport codes, which you can find on web.

There is Cebu Pacific flight to CEBU
Check cebupacificair.com
choose Clark as origin, Cebu as destination.

ok. thanks for all of your help, hopefully somebody else will help me with that. there is no flight with cebupacific to cebu on the 5th of may from clark.

From Clark airport take whatever transport you can find to Dau bus stop. There are all sorts of buses going to Manila from there. I would recommend Victory Bus heading to Pasay(not Caloocan or Cubao) which is nearest to the airport. From the bus terminal to the airport(T-3) the taxi fare is NO MORE than P100.00.

how much is a taxi from clark to manila airport going to cost? i might have to include this as part of my trip budget.
