Alright, for all you that dive with a mustache how do you get your mask to seal right? It seems I can never really get a good seal with my mustache and I really don't want to shave it everytime I go dive..... and I'm now an expert at clearing.... :D

Any suggestions?

If you look close you can tell a bit where I shaved. It doesn't take much, about as much area as the head of the razor covers up.

(1) Yep, it could well be your mask. But if shaving the lower part solves the leak, then it's not.

(2) But I usually use silicone grease. Smear some on, let it dry a bit maybe, then don the mask. May have to clean the skirt of your mask a little better now and then.

I have a beard & mustache similar ro Wayaerd Sons, never had a problem, never sany specila shaving...try a different mask.

The owner of our LDS recommends, if you don't want to shave, using moustache wax or KY jelly.

Wayward Son:
I shave a bit under my nose. Just enough to let it seal. I don't keep it shaved, just do it the night before a dive day.

Looking at your avatar one would just never know, wayward ;o).
