From local live news - the diver's body was found in the waters of Tanjung Po by local fishermen. Identified by her family.

RIP

Thanks for letting us know. At least there's some measure of closure for the family.

Is Tanjung Po on your map above?

A sad loss, but at least the desperate search is over.

I think these two views will illustrate the locations a little over 20 miles apart. I think maybe she was found close to the Tanjung Po peninsula, but we don't know if east, west, or north.

Not mentioned in the article, but press conference mentioned she was found without her BCD, tank and fins
I am pretty sure the fishermen did not remove/touch any of her belonging.

I can think of one very good explanation.

One of the witness said “mayat masih sempurna” which means the body was complete (no missing parts). From my understanding of Malay, the fishermen found her floating at sea.
