definitely this 2008....thinking of mid-June or late November slot. When are you going back to Sogod Caloy? I'm taking the kids to Cabilao and Alona in late March but I have some "slots" open after that... :14:

I share the same sentiments as Koya. It would have been awesome to see the whalesharks but after seeing the dive sites of South Leyte, I can see why it is touted as the most pristine diving in the philippines. The corals looked untouched! The reef contour was amazing and it really helped that our awesome dive guide, Pedro, was an excellent spotter.no Dennis, and I'm not the least frustrated. I enjoyed the trip very much....planning to go back, I just need some confirmation from Phil.
I'm betting the purplehammerhead is grinning ear to ear. He's got better quality critter wise, on this trip. The turtle was on the first dive site called......turtle rock! You guys were lagging behind, only those just behind Phil were able to see it.
Now I'm off to dive again. Cabilao has been awesome so far. It is great macro here. We did the night dive at the lighthouse last night. AMAZING! I saw a blue ring octopus, an uncommon variety of lionfish which I can't remember the name, among other things.
I love the different places we've been able to dive, all of them offer something different.
