SoCal's DIR / DIR Curious Shore Dive

I notice SoCal's doing a DIR-curious dive.

Anyone interested in doing a NorCal version? I'd be interested, and I might be able to bring some friends from the University.

If Don's willing and interested, that would be awesome. You could also try getting in touch with Rob Lee (rhlee on SB), and Beto Nava (can be reached through Rob) from the GUE side of things. They were the ones that setup the "try GUE" event at Wallin's a while ago, and might have some ideas about an ocean day.

If Don, Rob, and Beto all show up, we can setup some sort of arena for the no-doubt epic/gladiatorial MoCal DIR instructional showdown.

+1 for kathy i got to dive with her (and ben and ted) a couple of weekends ago and it was a great intro to gue/dir.
