Here's a question though: one time I forgot to take my cell-phone out and dove with it. Naturally it was fine, but would I have been able to receive a call underwater? Would have been strange hearing the muffled sound of my ring-tone going off at 50ft down. ;D
Don't know if it'd work 50 feet down, but stories of divers underwater, usually at their final stop or near the surface, having cell phones ring from their pockets are quite plentiful.

(Someday, I'll have to carry one down in an otter box to see where it loses signal.)

no such luck... it stays on shore!!

Your hosed! Buy a spare key without fob?

Leave my keys locked in the car, and put my non-electronic spare in my zippered pocket of the BC.

This was the best answer that I've found. The HitchSafe is on order. Thanks!

+1

Just did the ebay thing for $69.95 shipped.

I take off truck key and put in only pocket I have on my BCD (Oceanic Excursion). At least my key gets washed every week and sometime twice....lol
