Yes, I really like the the way NAUI splits up the cave education program. For me, NAUI Cave 1 would probably keep me occupied almost indefinitely; I'm doing GUE Cave 2 almost entirely for the ability to do jumps. Circuits and traverses just look like too much work, and I doubt I'll ever do a whole lot with stages.

But then, I originally thought I only wanted to be an OW recreational diver, so everything changes :)
 
NAUI's cave program would be perfect if the Cave 1 level had an addendum to the limitations "Decompresison allowed if the diver has additional Decompression Training"

A NAUI Cave 1 diver who has all the decompression, advanced nitrox certs in the world can't do a dive to 1/3rds at Little River, Ginnie Springs, or many of the other 100' deep caves because they have to deal with the no decompression barrier.
