With the recent heat wave hitting Southern California, it has certainly negatively impacted the visibility out in the islands with an algae bloom explosion. Nevertheless, diving in the kelp is still awesome and the water temps are a gloriously warm 66-67 degrees F.
Picture is of Mrs. Trailboss, resplendent in the Anacapa kelp near Landing Cove. The kelp in the northern Channel islands has been booming and healthy all spring.

Great composition ! Poor viability !
It is apparent Mrs. Trail boss has all the grace and beauty in your family

Poor visibility and warm water often brings in GBSB at the northern islands - Any divers see any GBSB ?

Thanks for sharing
