I appreciate the PM exchange Derek, and MHK, I appreciate your response as well. This may well be a path I take, if not for my initial class, certainly for the follow-up one where I actually attempt to PASS the thing!
I guess much will fall on whether I can get my gear next week and start this process in earnest. It's been a while since I've anticipated anything like this, but starting to dive again is hitting me like a fever right now.
