Try getting the snorkel adjusted to the correct position on your mask strap, and then cover the holder with electrician's tape (sticky on one side, and smooth on the other). In the USAF, we tapped everything to prevent it from catching on parachute cords; tape could do wonders here too. We used masking tape, but I think electrician's tape would be better for your application. Good luck.JahJahwarrior:I would just buy a new snorkel, but I'm cheap and I reallylike the one I have. My mom bought some snorkels for my brothers that look nicer, I borrowed one and put it on my mask, there was no way I could clear the thing! The purge sucked and I could never get it dry inside!!!! I was ready to burn the thing after twominutes of use! I love my snorkel! My brothers are the ones that broke it. I left my gear on the table on the back porch to dry and asked them not to touch it. I come out later and half of it is strewn around the pool and the clip was broken. Thanks brothers, I appreciate it.
I actually have seen a neoprene thingy, anyone have any experince with those?
I don't see why they sell these rubber ones, it's just horrid how much it hurt when I used it! I think for the moment, I'll ditch the snorkel. Like I said, I like my snorkel!
