Hi,

I have just come back from a diving holiday and when I needed to pack for my return trip, my dive equipment was not completely dry so I had to pack the moist equipment in the bag as was.

After all those hours in the bag the BCD has come out quite smelly. I have rinsed it twice already and it doesn't seem to work.

Any tips on how I can get my BCD back to no smell at all?

Thanks,

Listerine or Simply Green also works. Add a bit to water and soak.

Second vote for simple green. Let it soak well with some aggitation once in a while and rinse well.

Or you could just put your mask on before you don the BC.

Yeah - Sink the stink works.

My cat was upset after moving to a new house and defacated all over my friend's bcd. After multiple chlorine and detergent washings the smell was still there. What finally got the smell out was rubbing the whole thing down with raw tomatoes. This also worked on one of my shoes after stepping in what I believe was fox feces. The smell was there for weeks until I remembered the tomato trick.

Since I cannot seem to find Sink the Stink is Europe (and I am not going to have it shipped to Europe for $40) can anyone tell me wat Simply Green is? Thanks

Simple Green is a powerful degreasing agent. I'm not sure I'd let it touch my BC but other people seem to have said it works OK..
