SMB for ocean dives

I just wonder what is a better method to get someone's attention, especially when I need the boat to come get me.

Fox 40 or Storm whistles work. Waving a bikini top above your head also works as well. Granted they may not pick you up when they catch on, you should at least grab their attention for a few seconds.

I carry the 3ft smb in my left thigh pocket and a 4.5ft in my mc storage pack. I deploy dependent on conditions.

I deploy the 4.5 SMB at the surface, if needed.

Sometimes I carry a whistle in my pocket (conditions dependent).
