Hi all,
I use the SmartTrak software with my Luna, and I am trying to edit the dive site info for a few dives that I had not yet added the site names into SmartTrak. When I edit the dive the system is changing the dive site info for multiple dives, including some that are way back in the past...It seems that if SmartTrak sees dives without a site name it just adds the site I'm trying to add to another dive. It's added site names from a dive I did on holidays only a month ago to dives I did 4 years ago!
No idea why it's overriding what I'm trying to tell it. Is there a way to undo these changes, or am I going to have to revert to a previously saved log and re-importing my newer dives from my Luna...(and in the case or re-importing am I doomed to have the same thing happen again when I try to edit the sites?)
If anyone can offer any assistance or point me in the right direction to figure this out I will be extremely grateful. I'm on the verge of ditching the software, it's not the first time it's done this. Maybe it's something i'm doing, but I can't see how...select a dive, select edit dive...how is it that the software chooses a bunch of other dives to change as well?
