hmm seems like nothing to worry about. However maybe in the next few dives you should be more conservative as to your dive plan. DCS can happen even at really shallow depths and small dive times so you really have to be ready to respond to the signs and symptoms if you see them!

Maybe I just didn't see it but I think that where this dive occured would help determine the actual cause of the rash. I had a very very similar incident on my very first boat dive, thought I had gone up a little fast (though upon reviewing computer readout, had not) and noticed a raised red rash from my wrist to about halfway up my forearm. Reading these forums too much will make you think anything could be DCS (better safe than sorry though) . . . turned out to be a light jellyfish sting. So. . . . where were you diving? Were you wearing full wetsuit/rash guard? Do you descend on a line (I hear these down lines can get rather funkified after long term use). Does the itching sensation go away with application of Cortizone cream (this would affect a rash but doubt it would do much to subside the pain/itching of skin bends). Did you see any animals that could have potentially illicited an allergic reaction (Jelly's, lionfish, fire coral, anemones)? Will try and find the picture of mine so you can compare once I get home. . . .

Since I was wearing a drysuit when I got the rash on my torso I am doubtful it was caused by a sting

I find the rash interesting. My case of DCSW resulted in my skin turning blue. It was as if I had been beaten with a rubber hose - felt like it too.

Reaction to undergarments comes to mind but just another guess...
