Hi,

I just bought an SJ5000x Elite and am planning to go diving this weekend. If weather permitting we are going for a wreck dive that is around 120ft (36m). Does anyone had any problems with this camera at these depths with the SJ5000x Elite, I know some had problems with the SJ4000 switching off at depths beyond 65ft (20m).

Any recommendations of what I can do to make sure that it does not flood. Also as I am new in videography underwater any recommendations of how to set it.

Thanks

Used on 10 dives so far. The deepest was 38m and it slightly leaks in 35m or more.
Please find a link to a video I shot while diving on wreck. No red filter, no light and the underwater visibility was not so good.

Please comment and critic.

Very smooth flow of video. How was this mounted?
I am researching buying an sjcam, and hoping to use it for close ups as well as video. Have you bought macro lens for smaller critters?

Hi Francesca, I did a rig myself and held it in my hands.
No macro lens or red filters and no additional lights, just the camera with the underwater case.
