Well, we got here yesterday, but only two of our five bags arrived with us.

Two more flights have come and gone with nothing. Five bags on Grand Cayman waiting to come over.

Maybe the 10:30 flight?????

No dive gear, no toiletries, parts of camera gear here, most not.

No diving this AM for us. Fortunately I like surfing the internet and reading.

And let me tell you, the wind, she's a blowin'.

All in all it is great to be here, but I really want to get in the water.

You are handling better than I would! Dont even mention the wind. We are heading to Grand Cayman on the 1st. I'm praying for no wind!

Hey JD - you must have your bags by now. I know you are anxious to be in that water, but just relaxing never hurts either. Have a great trip. Please post water temps!

FWIW: Water temps were a pretty consistant 82F when I was there last week. Although there were a few spots near the wall where, colder (79) was coming up from the deep, and mixing with warmer (84) water coming from the shoreline!

Well, the bags did come.

South side on Monday and north today.

Winds are 20 knots plus, out of the east/northeast.

My computer is reading 80 degrees on the water temp.

It is cold. In and out of the water. Body core temp is not getting up as much as I like. Bring a sweatshirt or other cover.

Hot shower is the great warming factor.

Love the diving, either side. It is about as bad as it gets here, but it is still GREAT!!!!

Anyone have any other questions I can help with?

Be careful with the hot showers right after deep/long dives. Good way to get bent.
