I use the orange Atlas gloves in Medium, and I use a light polarfleece glove underneath them, which is enough to keep my hands from being either numb or painful. They do get cold on longer dives in winter.

I don't know about gluing the rings together. You'd have to create a completely smooth surface for the sealing to work.

What kind and size of dry gloves do you use? I am having a hard time to find gloves that fit my small hands. I have just bought a pair of ATLAS Vinylove Large.
Why are you buying large for small hands? I am average size and a medium fits perfect. My gal has tiny hands, and she uses small gloves.

They are not lined (that kind is far too big for me). I can fit one pair of liner gloves only though.
You need to use a liner. A removable liner also allows you to have multiple liners available so they can be swapped out to dry. The lined gloves are next to impossible to get dry inside. I just use the liners from Atlas and am happy, but some prefer fancy gloves. My gal uses a polyester glove from a box store that cost $6.00 for three pair.

One of the rings broke off right in the middle the other day. Is it worth it to glue it together?

cheers
Picture? I doubt you can glue it, but what about warranty? You might also be able to just order the part you need.

I managed to break one of the internal rings of my Quick Gloves and glued it back together with Crazy Glue. I used fine wet and dry paper to make it smooth. It held up OK.

Well the inner ring is not a big deal. Don't you have spares? Not sure how I got so many. My Vikings use the exact same pressure fit rings to hold the seal to the glove ring.

I guess your hands must smaller than mine. I could not fit my hand on a Medium.

I don't think that's a good idea to glue the broken ring either. I will check if I can order just one ring to replace the one that's broken, otherwise I will have to buy a brand new set of rings. Which ones do you use, I don't remember anymore.

What color ring were you using? We have a bunch of spares.

When I realized I was going to have to give up on the Vikings, I talked to Mike. He very sweetly sent me both sets -- the Glove Lock and the ones I bought -- so I could decide which one worked. The Glove Lock seems to require a splined part on the suit side, which I don't have. It will not go directly onto the suit rings I do have. It is also absolutely enormous. The ones I bought appeared to fit and work, and did not increase the overall profile of the rings. I did not pick up on the o-ring problem when I was deciding which one to buy.

I am hoping either to get in on Peter's purchase, or get the information on which o-rings to buy. Yesterday, despite silicone spray and SEVERAL attempts at getting the gloves on perfectly, without pinching the o-rings, I ended up with two wet and very cold and painful hands. Right now, I'd say this glove system is one of the worst performing scuba purchases I have made in the last six years, and I would not recommend them to anyone.

I am supposed to get my other suit back (I thought it was going to be here already) and Peter has probably given me the solution. I'll just put the tech skin on the other suit and go back to the Viking rings, and this suit will become my warm water and travel suit (and travel only to places where dry gloves aren't necessary!)
You might try taking a trip down to Tacoma Screw. When I lived in Olympia, we went there for some off the wall parts for my AI collector for my stallion. That way, you could buy a single o-ring, instead of a bunch.

Wow, after reading all this I think I need to revisit my decision to go for these gloves. I currently have the diving concepts system on my DUI and my complaint is that the left glove takes two people with power tools to remove
However I have NEVER had a leak or pop-off in over 100 dives. A mere 5% leakage is way more than I would accept. I think I'll go back to trying to figure out my DC problem and save a few hundred on the new tech fusion.

I just bought the DC system but haven't installed it, yet. It says to remove the wrist seals, which I really don't want to do. I got the kind that went with my quick-changing wrist seal rings.
i'd really like to have the wrist seal there, in case of glove failure.
I hope it isn't that hard to don/doff because I really don't want to be dependent on my dive buddy to help me.

I've got 50 of the new o rings coming

I hated that glove system. It was a pain in the butt to install. Hard to put the gloves onto the rings. Somewhat hard to get on. Very hard to get off. Wound up giving them away. Everyone else struggled to install them onto their seals, and they wound up in the garbage.
