I have a standard XS weight pouch installed on my right shoulder strap and tucked way back under the wing. The spool goers in the pocket and the sausage is clipped to it with a double ender but is outside of the XS pocket.

Haven't you ever seen the storage pouch that goes on the backplate of a Halcyon bp/wing system?
I have one of those on my Eclipse rig. As soon as the elastic material goes, it's useless. I don't trust mine to hold anything, and I don't see how it's worth $75 to replace. At this point, the only reason I have it on my plate is for a bit of padding.
