Oh no, it can't be.:11: You folks are not suggesting that Shamily6905 is trying to decieve us and has some type of concealed business relationship that is motivating this "unsolicited testimonial". :rofl3:

Does this spam even belong in the Classified sections?

Gee, a poor guy can't get anything past you guys. They are only trying to follow the "rags to riches" formula everyone finds in the scuba industry. Thanks.

( Please note my tongue in my cheeks )

Yeah... but I'm leary of any shop that won't post it's physical location, phone number, etc on their webpage. It basically says that they want to get rich off our $$$ but provide no customer service before or after the sale.

Why should I support this shop when they aren't willing to do that when so many other shops (including DIVE SPORTS) are willing to give excellent customer AND the best prices?

It's an easy choice.

I think you missed the tongue in cheek part.

If this really is a dive shop in Monroe I'd be pretty happy since that's practically next door to me. Too bad it doesn't seem to be.

If I were closer, I'd love to have a real-world look at their locations. ;)

Incidentally, I just took another look to see if they updated anything. They still have the "7/15 Days Return Policy" on their front page, with 15/30 (and 7/15) on their shipping page. The rest is still just as bad as it was (apparently, they don't listen), but then I caught this gem on their Silverstone Dive Shop "about us" page (which only mentions Divers Expo and never anything "silverstone"):
Their page (emphasis mine):
Our strong company sourcing enables us to provide the newest and most cost efficient cellular accessories to our customers at huge discounts that provide them high returns without sacrificing quality, price, or stability.
Filling in all the blanks is one thing. Replacing all instances of the old name when you change it is another. Proofreading enough to change everything to the right *industry*... well, lacking that, can you blame us for being this entertained at such an apathetic attempt? :rofl3:

In short, I believe "Divers Expo" (as named on the front page) certainly provides "Extradinary Services". Of course, "extradinary" derives from "extra denari", which means "extradinary services" are services expected to raise additional funds.

Tell you what, if you really want to make a go at this, I'll quote you a flat rate of $250 to go through your site and correct the atrocious spelling, grammar, and branding mistakes (catalog data excluded). I don't require payment in advance, but the contract will have to be in writing, and that'll take a FedEx letter or two. If you'd like the catalog data corrected as well, the cost would be negotiable based on the amount of data. (Since many of the catalog categories are completely empty, it may be much lower than my usual rates.)

I'm cringing looking at the site again and seeing the hideous spelling and just blatant lack of care in putting it together. That being said though, I will be taking a ride over there this weekend--they'd be the closest shop to me by over 20 minutes.

Yup, people who can't proof read. That is who I want servicing my gear...

Quote from the website... "Most people make an uneducated purchase when buying diving accessories and usually pay too much."

Is that what the Silverstone cellular.... oops I mean diversexpo, er,,,, whatever your name is this hour, is hoping for?
