Interesting development.
Might want to post on rebreatherworld, if your not a member I can post for you.

Who is the certification from ? PADI? or someone else?
This is the new PADI hot class that just recently came out.
However, Jeff would take this class to another level.

For our rebreathers we usual sidemount at least one tank if not more.
I will privately circulate through a few friends.

For Cozumel this is a great way to deal with groups that do not carry doubles.

can you use a ranger for the side mount class or do you need a bp/w?

brett

There are various ways to rig it and several SM systems available. I wouldn't recommend trying to rig up a Ranger to do it though. The good news is that if you want to take the class and try it out they are providing just about all of the equipment. Any you don't have you can rent.

I'm not a member...no rebreather yet... If you don't mind posting it over there that would be appreciated. Thanks!

Yes, this is the new PADI class. If I have my info straight, Jeff is the one who wrote it up for them. I have no doubt it will be good, having already taken one class from Jeff in the past. I'm looking forward to working with him again.:D

What tanks are provided if any? Can we bring our own (or borrowed) steel tanks...

I'll ask, but I imagine that they'll only be able to provide Al80s. If you want to bring your own I have no doubt that will be just fine. I'll be bringing my LP85s for the class.

The class is full. Wow! That was that didn't take long!
