I just received my new SI Tech dry gloves, (thanks again Scuba Toys for your great service), and during the installation it recommends that you remove the quick clamp, (the part that attaches to your wrist seals), when storing for longer periods of time. Taking the quick clamp on and off seems to me would create a lot of stress on the latex seals. What are other SI Tech owners doing??

Cheers,
Steve

I leave my quick clamp attached to my wrist seals... Are you talking about the color coded rings?

I don't personally use the SI Tech system but am very familier with it. IMO I think installing and uninstalling them makes for a bit of a hassle and with each removal and insertion there's some potential for damage of the seals... I think I might take them out if the suit was going to sit for 6months or so but other than that I'd opt to leave them in. and why oh why would your suit sit for 6 months.. sheeeeshhhh!
