Hi everyone,

I'm currently looking at replacing my Drysuit Exhaust valve (a Si-Tech Tetis) by one of the more "heavy duty" models.

There are two models:
- Argo: Argo - Exhaust Valves - Products - SI-TECH

- Gaude: Gaude - Exhaust Valves - Products - SI-TECH

They have the exact same identical description on every websites, even the official website doesn't mention a single difference.

Sooooooo ...

The argo seems the most usual one, though the Gaude's design looks to me more "sand/dirt" proof.

Anyone could give me a rational of why choosing one or the other.

Thanks a lot my friends,

Jonathan

I don't know about the Gaude, but the Argo is a pretty crappy valve for cave diving. If you depress the valve it will back flow. I have been trying to find an alternative but SITech is terrible about publishing any info.

This problem is pretty simple to solve. Buy one of the "contaminated water" si tech valve. A bit more expensive and no more issues guaranteed
