Some shots from Saturday at Blue Heron Bridge
Let's start with those that need ID...
close to Purple crowned sea goddess (but no gill)
This is a different nudi, but I'm not sure what it is
On to the ones that I CAN ID!
Best I can tell, this is a juvenile Harlequin sea goddess
The little guy was about 1/2 the size and lacked the top spots for others I have seen
Notice the lack of defined spots as seen on this bigger guy that was close by
These shots taxed the limits of my camera's ability (Where the heck is my diopter!)...
Gold Line sea goddess
And then there was this one...
Cratena Peregrina (nudibranch with yellow spots)

There were even things there that were bigger than 1" (if you can believe that!)
Posing Sea Robins (3-4 of them during the dive)
Hermit Crabs
Ya know, this used to be such a nice place to raise the little ones...
But, times are tough and we finally decided to go condo...

I've been receiving a lot of PMs recently asking how to find the nudibranchs and slugs that I/we've been shooting.
I realize no one has posted a true shot to pin down an actual size so others know what they are to be looking for, so I went through some recent photos in an attempt to find one that will qualify the size for those who also want to shoot nudibranchs, worms and slugs.
I think this will help...
This is a thin steak knife (dropped by a fisherman at Blue Heron Bridge). I've circled the flatworm...
Which turns into a picture (almost in focus) of about this size...

As far as how to find them, these were helped greatly by bad viz. In green water with 10ft viz you start looking at the rocks a lot closer. Normally I would never have seen the small guy.
