So Sasscuba cleaned this one up for me a bit. What a difference a tune up can make!! Thanks Sas!!!!!:D

Oh my! What a difference!! Sasscuba, what is your secret Photoshop process?

Cdiver, your wife does indeed have a good eye. Did you set up the camera for her to shoot the right edge blurry or was that an accident? Or did you make that kind of effect in photoshop. In any case I like the way it looks. Thinking how a judge in one of my camera club's competitions might think, compositionally, they would say to clone out the anemones on the sides because they are distracting. I tend to leave stuff like that in a photo because I think it looks more realistic and in nature competitions, you aren't allowed to photoshop the image except for minor color or contrast issues.

Again, I don't think I would have thought to shoot that coral (or whatever that is in your wife's photo) in the way that she did. To really think about the angle of the white. Why doesn't she shoot herself?

I can not take the credit, my wife took the photograph. She knows nothing about photography, I have to set the camera up for her, then she takes a photograph like this. It's enough to cheese anyone off. Another one of her photographs below, she has the eye.

She has a great eye, the pics are really great.

This is a great thread. There are alot of great photos here. I really like the nudibranchs Bob. I also really like the shot of the trunkfish.

Hello
Bonaire-Hello.jpg

One of my first dives in Bonaire it looks like all the fish are saying Hi, welcome to paradise.

Close Encounter
Oriskany_Close_Encounter.jpg

During the summer of 2007 I saw this file fish on almost every dive on the Oriskany. He would follow me around all the time. This day I was laying still on the very top of the ship and he came up to my mask and started tapping it. The view is from below me looking up at the bottom of my mask. I just tipped the camera up and fired away hoping to catch the shot and got lucky

Cozumel Stingray

A real lucky shot, it happend so fast I just pointed the camera and tripped the shutter
