Stairman is correct, the best dives in Northern Florida are the springs.

Ginnie Springs is a personal favorite along with Paradise Spring.

Sorry it's the middle of the work week or I would guide you myself.

This weekend we are driving down to the Blue Heron Bridge from Jacksonville, if you're still around you're welcome to come along.

@DMDavid...that's actually one of the exact places I was looking at a couple days ago. I would be delighted to join you. I'm arriving in Savannah tomorrow, and staying through next Wednesday so I will be around this weekend. PM me with a mobile number, and I'll do the same.

I assume you're diving at Phil Foster Park? Seems to be the spot.

Of all the places listed, Blue Heron Bridge would be my choice by far.

If you multiplied the awesomeness of every other place listed by 2, Blue Heron Bridge (without the multiplier) would still be my first choice by far.

Best to go with someone who has dove it before, as the current can kick a strong swimmer's @$$ if you stay too long after the tide change.

One of my favorite dive locations.

Thanks everyone...Blue Heron Bridge was indeed the spot to go! Hooked up with @DMDavid's group from Fernandina Beach, FL and they showed me a good time. Did a night dive at high slack, and a morning dive at the next high slack tide. The night dive was by far the better of the two. I can't even count everything I saw. Being from Arizona and being used to seeing bass and catfish in green tinted water...this was the best diving ever. Made some good friends along the way and I will definitely be back soon with my 18yo son who is also certified.
