Anyone know what the current water temp is at Blue Heron Bridge ? I'm heading there next week and deciding between 3mm or 5mm.

I was there yesterday, 77f
As others have posted BHB is a decent, easy and cheap site to dive.
I shore dive a lot, see my user name. Broward county is by far the best for shore diving.
Dania Euro Jacks is a great site, and well cheap. Follow the Jacks to Seatech ledge, swim against current and double back at your half way point. $4.00 to park if single, or $6.00 for carload of divers. There is also a cafe on site by the inlet that has reasonable prices and good food.
South of the Jacks is Perry St Rock Pile, an artificial reef with car sized boulders. Not an excellent site, but if you are in the area, it's worth checking out. You can blow past the rocks and swim out the ledge.
Lauderdale by The Sea is a great site as well. Recommend blowing past the first reef and stay on the second [from shore line]. The 2nd reef is just past the pier.
Parking can be a pain, but most of it metered. I usually park at the all day lot for $10.00. Gold Coast Scuba is East of the inter-coastal on Commercial and will give healthy fills.
I have done Pepper Park, not much to see compared to a short drive south IMHO.
I'm a veteran, but never really inquire about discounts, so nothing really to share.

Welcome nharring. BHB is great place to dive. Parking is difficult especially on weekends.
