Sorry for the delayed response...
I got a Medium size from my local shop, and these fins work great now. Previously I had the 'large' based on an online sizing chart/online stores rep's info. What was a 'pretty good' fit ( I thought) is now perfect and they stay on fine. They are comfortable and very powerful. The goal of Scuba isn't to go fast, but I can 'book it' with these.
For the record, I take a 10.5 - 11 Shoe and my dive boots are Mares 10. The Sherwood Elite size that worrks is 9-10 M. I hope this helps.
