I used a 2mm x 19mm silicon ring. Much nicer.

For future reference those in the US can use a Danco #30 o-ring if you can't find the 2mm x 19mm o-ring.

The Danco #30 is a -018 o-ring.....pretty close to the 2x19mm.
Having used the 2x19 for a while, I think something a hair stronger would be good...that means a hair thicker.
I'd try an -116 or a 2.5x19mm.

I don't know about silicone orings, don't use them as much
But usually nitrile cracks in the sun,
and when stretched like that it seems worse...
How are the orings standing up for you guys?

My AMX bezel protector shipped with a pair of 2.5x20mm o-rings.

I was targeting a cross-section which would fit between the computer and its band, where the larger 2.5mm OEM o-ring simply put wouldn't fit on both sides of the band causing the band to resist wrapping around the wrist.

That said are you having issues with the 2x19mm o-ring failing?

Good question. I didn't wait to find out and lined the inside of the protector with strips cut from a roll of 3m polyurethane tape. While apparently the initial AMX protectors were a very tight fit, the one I purchased was rather loose. The 3m material fills the gap, point in fact.

Note the 3m material is identical to what Oceanic uses for their screen protectors.

Turns out keeping the screen protector on with cave line tightened down is even better than these dumb O-rings that failed on my recent trip. Gonna keep this solution from now on. Though I use my Apple MagSafe Qi-compatible charger instead.
