I'm about ready to pull the trigger on the Shearwater Petrel. Cheapest I can find it is $849. Anybody know if it can be found for less or if anybody is running a promotion on the petrel.

I paid that, and got a free embroidered case and a Saft battery. They had it priced that way on the internet, so Google it. I have heard since then that if you call some of the venders they may do a bit better, but the people who mentioned that also indicated the margins are pretty thin on these.
