Well this is still ongoing.. but after posting complaining about the price I received my Perdix back to find it was 2 years older with 944 dives on it , it had a different serial number and was not an AI ! So not my computer! It was sent back and after much waiting I received my computer back to find it had a different serial number and it's not AI ! So now this one is going to have to go back . Its been a month and £240 and I am still no closer to getting a working AI perdix back ! Who said Narked@90 were good ???Sometimes. 500 pressure cycles, 500 hours, 5 years old. That's pretty well used.
If I bought a $1,000 reg set and used it for that period, with that number of cycles, I would expect to have had it serviced a few times, and if I didn't do it myself, that'd probably be somewhere in the neighborhood of $250-300. Just for maintenance.
And if I did it myself, I'd probably have invested more than $1,000 in tools to save the $300. But I don't want to know how much I've really got invested in scuba tools.
