Does a sharkskin over a wetsuit do anything? A friend gave me his old sharkskin but it's a little big for me and doesn't fit under my wetsuit.

Not optimal. It’s designed to be worn against your skin either my itself or under a wetsuit. I’m sure it will still add ‘some’ warmth but it won’t be as effective as it’s designed to be.

It seemed to work very well. Not sure it was as good as under the wetsuit but it kept me warm.
