This is so true; it should read “Warning Mankind” Sharks are such an amazing creature I hate to see them wiped out like this.

I was fortunate enough to spend 3 days cage diving with great white sharks in Isla Guadalupe in August. They are truly amazing! The sharks were very curious and docile and showed absolutely no aggression towards the cage whatsoever... much different than what is typically portrayed by the media.

So, are they docile and non-aggressive enough to go without the cage? :reaper:

I have seen shows on Discovery where people have gone in with them without a cage. I don't know if I would do it or not but it has been done.
I think this sucks that it is happening but there is a lmited amount we can do about it. I believe the majority of the problem is overseas and therefore out of our control. I know we have limits on shark over here and finning is banned so I don't see where we can change much more to make a difference. I think it is good to support the organizations that try to tackle the problem and I do but the governments of these other counties are going to have to get serious about it in order to get anything accomplished. Just my two cents.

If you havent already seen it you should rent the documentary call "Sharkwater". I was fortunate enough to see it at the premier and met the film maker, Rob Stewart. I know you can rent it from Netflix. The website for the film is SHARKWATER - In UK theaters February 22nd

Good documetary!! Makes me very angry and very sad!!! Everyone should view this movie!!
