Does anyone have experience with these, and do they really work. Anyone have a first hand account?

Got a second hand account - a scallop diver in South Australia was almost bitten in half by a 15'+ great white shark earlier this year while wearing one.

Do a search on "scallop diver great white shark south australia" in Google and you'll find a bunch of references to the story

Several articles in Spearfishing indicate some support for thier use.

I don't know if pee is a shark deterrent, but if a 15' Great White is coming my way, my body will probably try that on its own.
:peek:

Pee, there would be a lot more in my suit than that. But I thought divers were pretty repellent in their own right.
