Before you all start sending e-mails. You better think about what may happen to them.

Being beaton near death is worse then what they did. Also they did not harm another person as we know yet. And they do not at this point need to be taught how to kill us better. With more anger.

At the same time they will be reintroduced to your society twice as bad as they are now and they have better training. They will hate you all even more and hate the world more. Jail is not what is needed. You might as well kill them. Thats the only way to save your society. Some of the comments here are rather scary and as for the daulmers they had no feelings for others first then he started hurting animals and worse. HELP THEM MAYBE THEY MAY STOP SOME GOD AWEFULL THING IN THE FUTURE. Because instead of killing them you sent an e-mail to say wholly crap look at the world our children are growing up in.

You see it as "its just kids playing." HOWEVER, I and other people who are a little older who were taught right and wrong and not to touch other peoples stuff - we see this as a straight out failure of the parents to teach the kids proper resepect for other peoples property. From a very early age this would have been totally uacceptable behavior for me or anyone I hung around and anything that the CJS may inflict upon these nitwits is FAR LESS than what my dad and other parents I knew would have whooped upon us!

Strangely enough, these 4 may be young enough to teach some values and learn to respect others - if anyone should pay it should be the parents of the 4 boys for being so out of touch and unaware of where the kids were that this was allowed to occur.

Put the kids in military school where they will learn some self respect, respect for others, and discipline - punish the parents with severe community service that way its on their time and not in jail on our dime. Let them make up for failing their kids.

I like this idea very much. I would like to say where I come from my dad made it clear about like this and what would happen. but because I had excellent parents does not mean everybody else does and some times we as adults with kids have to look a lot deeper and realize they are what we teach and guide.

The Aquarium needs some motion detectors. It's not right someone can get in there and stay all night torturing the animals. The security was very poor.

7-11 has better security than AoP.

You took the works right out of my mouth. A multi-million dollar establishment and no security cameras or security system that I know of.

Security camera and digital recorder with an instant alarm trigger upon motion would of save these beautifull creatures, and caught these &*()&)(* on video before they inflicted their cruelty.

I think aquariums belong in the past. Sharks are wild animals, and not meant to be "petted". I'm sure they led a terrifying existance.

What type of parents will allow their 13/14 years old child go out late on Sunday and Monday nights anyway? I think in this case parents are equally

The kids have nothing that a good caning won't fix. Yes, I'm serious. 5-6 lashes on their butts would do 'em good.

The kids did a really horrible thing. Kids (and adults) do things like this because they are not afraid of the punishment.

It's despicable.

Hopefully others will posture themselves in a proactive manner thusly preventing something like this from happening again. AND, maybe, JUST MAYBE, parents will know what their children are doing.

Oh, I could go on for hours on this one, but I'll spare everyone. Besides, I think most of us are on the same page.
