Surfer hospitalized after Calif. shark attack

Anyone happen to notice if the sea lions were missing from the breakwater this weekend? Last time there was a shark attack at Marina beach (2007), I remember not seeing a single sea lion on the breakwater that weekend, which I found odd.

The Sealions were still where they always are... wall... bouys... commercial warf. I didn't see anything different. We were on the boat and on the way in/out the water inside the harbour was very mucky... red tide I guess. There was a sealion hanging out at K-dock that didn't look too good. So maybe it was redtide.
