"knee", more or less. The "k" is silent, as in "The Knights who say ni".
I always thought they were saying "neep".

1. Halcyon SS backplate, trim weight pockets on STA

Main rig, on the left:
1. Backplate - Halcyon SS
2. Wing - OxyCheq Mark V 18# (on order)
3. Harness - Webbing, rings, keepers, buckle and bolt snaps are from Piranha Dive. I know, I have WAY too much webbing, but I don't know how much more I will need if I ever decide to dive dry.
4. 1st stage - MK25
5. Primary 2nd stage - X650 (S620 Ti on order, X650 to become backup. I already have the necklace on it.)
6. Computer - Aladin Sport Matrix
7. SPG - Scubapro SPG. Plastic :/
8. Hoses - 7' rubber on the primary, 22" rubber on the backup.

Other rig, on the right:
1. Backplate - OxyCheq Travel SS
2. Wing - OxyCheq Mark V 18#
3. Harness - Webbing is from Piranha Dive, rings and keepers are from the harness that came with the Halcyon plate on the left so I don't know where they came from, as did with the buckle, which is Dive Rite. No crotch strap.

The travel plate is so cute and comfortable (I love minimalism), but the full-sized plate will always be my main rig because I don't need any lead with it while using a 3-mil in the ocean or a 5-mil in the quarry.

And I make the buckles right-hand release so that the crotch strap doesn't fall off should the buckle accidentally release.

Edit: I just realized the red webbing makes a heart shape. How fitting. That should go on a Valentine's Day card.

Love this thread: I can see what my friends wear.

For me with single tanks:
  1. DGEx Plate with STA
  2. Halcyon Wing
  3. DGEx 2" webbing
  4. MK20
  5. G250V primary; G250 sling around my neck
  6. Perdix AI w/ transmitter
  7. Scubapro Brass and glass SPG
  8. 84" hose for primary stage; 24" for 2ndary
  9. DGEx cutter (ceramic)
  10. DGEx Shears
  11. DGEx Light on harness
  12. Light Monkey Corded light
For doubles:
  1. DGEx Plate
  2. LP50s x 2
  3. Light Monkey Wing (40Lbs)
  4. Scubapro MK20
  5. Scubapro S600 primary 84" hose
  6. Scubapro D400 24" for 2ndary
  7. Perdix AI w/ transmitter
  8. Scubapro Brass and glass SPG
  9. DGEx cutter (ceramic)
  10. DGEx cutter (shears)
  11. DGEx Light on harness
  12. Light Monkey Corded light
Hope this helps.

I've found adding a 1" crotch strap keeps it from riding up and makes it feel more stable with Al100 tanks.

Yeah. If it weighed 6.5 pounds and had at least one attachment point (I like to keep my safety sausage way out of the way) it would be perfect!

I may make a crotch strap for it. If I do, then I will likely make a 1" strap for the full-sized plate while I am at it. 2" webbing may be a bit wide for that particular application :D.
