Very few people stay in "Manila", most stay in Makati, BGC or Pasay/Newport City. You can find newish condos, some with washers in Pasay/Newport for as low as USD $30/night. Grabs are available in those areas and are very cheap, if you like to get drunk late nights, just take a Grab back home
