Hi everybody,

are there actually any problems in Upgrade Programm to the new Port-System ?
I send mir old housing for Nikon D300 ( 6812.31) and Port 5510.10 in the middle of may with help of a dealer to Ikelite USA.

Aktually it isn´t back to me and i am still waiting.

Only information by my Dealer is ... we are waiting to...

Best of all:
i have received information that prices have changed:
Housing Update ist now 158 USD exlc. fee
Port Update is 75 USD excl. fee

Ikelite Homepage still show Prices of 150 and 60 USD for upgrade.

An yes, the dealer is official distributer in Germany.

Many thanks

Michael

The prices on our website are US suggested retail pricing. Prices may vary by dealer, especially internationally where additional transit fees, customs fees, etc. may be involved. Additional charges may apply to housings returned for an update if there are other non-warranty repairs required or recommended.

Two pricing options are available for the port lock upgrade:
$150 US Suggested retail for upgrade
$200 US Suggested retail for upgrade plus replacement of all seals

Returning an item through an international dealer or distributor is usually cheaper than the freight and duties charges that are involved with sending it on your own. However it may result in longer wait times as the return of repair items are coordinated with shipments of outgoing orders.

Also we do not proceed with the repairs if there is a delay in receiving approval of the repair charges. Please confirm with your dealer that you approve the repair estimate.

Hopefully this helps to answer your questions.

Regards,
