Hi all,

Long time lurker, first post!!
Great info here on the board, and would like opinions regarding service for Genesis GS 2000 regs with D.A.D. first stage. My son and I both dive this regulator, and I have to say have been very happy so far with the performance of the equipment.

My question is this, reading some posts regarding service to the first stage, and if I am interpreting it correctly, a special tool is needed to test the D.A.D. schrader valve assembly after rebuild. I have noticed that when the regs were new, it was obvious the D.A.D. system was venting on ascent by a bubble now and again being exhausted from the black cap on the first stage. Since servicing, (both have been serviced at the LDL, a Genesis dealer multiple times) I cannot recall seeing this venting during ascent.

Any of you tech gurus have any advice and or observations??
