serial number on suunto

All you Suunto owners:
I was just wondering where
the serial number for the Suunto Vyper
computer (wrist mount) can be found.
I need to register with the manufacturer
for the warranty.

It's on the underside of the vyper itself.

To get to it, you need to remove the boot it sits in by levering it up and out (it is decscribed in the manual under 'Changing the Battery)

The computer has to be removed from the band to see the S/N.

The band retains the computer "disk" by capturing it between the bezel, just above the top of the display window, and inside of the disk receptacle cavity below the bottom of the bezel. If you flex the top area of the band back away from the bezel, that should free the disk up enough to pop out and read the S/N. Slide it back into the lower part od the cavity first, pull the top area of the band away again, and gently push the disk back into the recepticle ...it should pop right in.
