The Mares SEMI Dry is nice, back entry and same zipper setup as a drysuit. Yes you get a little wet, but it is good to 38 degrees according to MARES, and cheaper than a DS. I have a Mares SD and a DR 905 DS. Luv 'em both

i prefer not to,but stuff happens, two dives off the boat in 35 degree weather, did my si in the water to stay warm.

I just got my Mares Isotherm semi dry.

So, what am I supposed to do with the seals, leave them straight or fold them back?
It says on the inside of the suit that I should read the instructions, but there weren't any with it.

And, the suit fits very loose around my body, the inner core warmer layer fits nice and snug but the rest is just flopping around and it seems like I could easily fill up all the room with at least a gallon of water, only around the lower arms and legs it feels like my other Mares Tropic wetsuit.

Is that supposed to be like that or am I simply way too small? 5'4", 119lbs...and it's size small.

Any recommendations?

Ok, so I put the suit on again and took a picture of the fit...

I guess I'm too skinny for it by the looks of it.

It's way too big. You need to either look for a suit that comes in XS or get one custom made.

Ok, I am sending that one back.

I did some more research and found (the only one) the Pinnacle Elite in XS.

Everything else is bigger and there seems to be a gap in between the junior/children's sizes and the adult sizes, I fall into that gap...

There is also the Pinnacle Edge in S, but it's women's S, which, if I can trust the
sizing chart and my measurements would fit me perfectly...I don't mind if it's a women's suit, the price difference between those two makes it even more attractive...or are there any special women's features in that suit that would make it unusable for men?

Typically womens suits are cut different for the physical differences of women.

I finally got my semi-dry in on Friday. I took it over to Panama City and did a little water testing to kinda figure out if it's going to give a good seal and how much weight I'll need.

The Tilos 7/5mm Semi-Dry is amazing. I got in to 62 degree water, while it was 52 out side. Only a VERY, VERY small amount of water got into the suit at my wrists and ankles. Before I got into the water I burped the suit and grabbed my weight belt I brought a total of 18lbs with me and I still need some more to be able to get my buoyancy right...

The feeling I had using the suit was close to the feeling I had when I took my openwater class and realized I was breathing underwater. I was in awe. I highly recommend this suit though I would say it runs about one size larger than the size charts. The suit arms are a little too long but the suit still provides a perfect seal.

Finally a picture...
