As the age of the typical scuba diver creeps upwards (current studies show the median age between 35 and 60), there is more need than ever for quality vision correction solutions. At next weeks DEMA Show, representatives from SEEDIVE will be on hand to present a variety of options for dive retailers wanting to better serve their customers.
According to SEEDIVE officials, the company will feature THREE different systems, two for near vision (reading) and one for distance. Each system is outlined below:
SeeDive is an auxiliary lens designed to add reading glass powers to your dive mask. It is a thin flexible plastic lens that adheres to the inside of the dive mask without any glues or adhesives. SeeDive is available in the following reading glass powers: +1.00 +1.50, +2.00, +2.50, +3.00, +3.50, +4.00, +5.00, and +6.00. SeeDive is removable and reusable, if find you installed it in the wrong spot, no worries just peel it off and reposition it. If your power changes, just replace the SeeDive lens, not your mask. SeeDive can be used with corrective lens masks. SeeDive will fit in all dive masks, as well as Sunglasses, Ski Goggles, Eyeglasses, Face Shields, Paint Ball Masks, etc.
Attach-A-Lens is an auxiliary lens designed to add reading glass powers to your dive mask. It is a plastic optical lens just like you would find in a pair of reading glasses. Attach-A-lens adheres to the inside of the dive mask with a removable adhesive gasket. Attach-A-Lens is available in the following reading glass powers: +1.00 +1.50, +2.00, +2.50, +3.00, +3.50. Attach-A-Lens-D is available in the following Distance powers: -1.00 -1.50, -2.00, -2.50, -3.00, -3.50, -4.00, -5.00, and -6.00. Attach-A-Lens-D is removable and reusable, if find you installed it in the wrong spot, no worries just peel it off and reposition it. If your power changes, just replace the Attach-A-Lens-D, not your mask. Fits in either eye. Attach-A-Lens-D will fit most dive masks.
