I hope to be able to attend. Of course, I have no booth and no real services to offer if I had a booth.

But if anyone needs to have an airway managed or a cardiac drip, maybe I could help.

I am thinking of volunteering. Is anyone else planning to do this?

Update on a few things:

We will be in Friday night, staying through Sunday.

I will be working at the Diverite booth all weekend. :D
We should have plenty of goodies to show and play with.

Please stop by and say hello, it would be nice put names with faces.

Does anyone have suggestions for nearby activities or good food joints?
I am sure that Heather and Austin will want to explore any nearby activities.

Regards, Andrew

There are quite a few restaurants right around the Reliant complex but don't venture too far off the main roads (Fannin, Kirby, Main, Loop 610), especially South outside the loop it's not the best part of town. There is a Pappadeaux and Pappasitoe's across the loop and West from Reliant.

To the North; accessible by Fannin (on the East side of Reliant); you have the Medical Center, Houston Zoo, Rice University, Hermann Park, and the Museum District. If you have the time the Houston Museum of Natural Science is always great they have an IMAX and great exhibits.

About 45 minutes South of town on Hwy 288 is Mammoth Lake .

Just a couple of suggestions.

Will there be shopping available in the Exhibit Hall?

If I can't dive there, I need to be shopping! It's a woman thang.

There has been shopping the last few times I have been there. Both from local dive shops that have set up booths and direct from the manufacturer. Bring your wishlist, there are usually good deals to be made.
