I have an older style SeaQuest reg set that I use for my deco bottle. Recently I've changed things around a bit and have found that I don't have the goofy sized LP plug. I don't know what size it is, but it is bigger than the standard 1/2". Of course, none of the shops have the plug and no one has any ideas on where to get one.

Anyone around here have an idea?

Thanks

The two sizes of LP plugs on that regulator were the standard 3/8" and the "preferred port" is a size 1/2". The HP port is the standad 7/16". It is difficult to find the 1/2" plugs because a plug does not come with a new regulator. All of the plugs that we all have laying around in our shops (thousands and thousands of them) are 3/8" LP and 7/16" HP plugs.

On another note, you can purchase the 1/2" plugs as replacement parts from the scuba manufacturers. On an Apeks regulator, the 1/2" port plug is $11. I will look around and see if I have any 1/2" plugs for the SeaQuest. If I find any, I will get back to you here on the board and arrange to get a couple out to you. Thanks.
