Hey Kees,

Good timing with your question. I recently restored a Cyklon 2305 and wanted to dedicate it to my 40CF stage bottle. So instead of using one of my expensive $20 #1162 seats, I used one of my punched seats.

The major difference is height and material. These seats are slightly taller than the #1162 seats. And the material is a black rubber, EPDM.

When reassembled, the seat sealed and worked well. After 2 dives and some use on the stage bottle, it seems to hold. Even if you replaced these seats after a few months, it is still way cheaper than the Poseidon 1162 seats. I can make a hundred of these seats for a few dollars.

PM me your address and I would be happy to send you a bunch of these seats for you to try as well.

Erik
Hello Erik, As I have not created 5 public posts, I am not allowed to send a direct message to you. Would you be so kind to try a DM to me or sent a test e-mail to kees_work @ hotmail.com. (remove the spaces as I do not know if this post will be moderated and I would not like to get removed from the Forum).
