I'm on my second SeaLife Sport Diver case (first one had a small leak around one of the buttons and was replaced by warranty). The second one was working well on first dive trip, but a couple months later I would seal it, get a confirmed seal and then a couple minutes later the seal alarm would go off. I ended up not being able to use it while in Raja Ampat, boo! Once I got home I assumed I'd have to send it in for service, but I wasn't able to replicate the issue at home. i'm wondering if my phone was overheating and causing an issue with the seal? I don't understand what caused it or why I can't replicate the issue now, but worried it will happen again. Any experience or insights?

I think these are sensitive to temperature. I've taken to keeping a towel over mine when it's in an area exposed to direct sun while waiting to get in the water.

Maybe try sealing it up with the phone outside the case and see if there's any difference. Also pull the o-ring and run it with your fingers (good time to re-lube) to check for any sort of debris. Clean the o-ring channels thoroughly too.

I tried re-sealing and replacing all the o-rings actually but still had the same issue while traveling. And did my best to keep it out of direct sunlight. Of course it worked fine when I got home! Will try again...thanks.
