I was looking into buying one of these but saw the ballast weight they sell for it is like 13.5 Oz!!!!
Do you really need that much weight on it to make it neutral/negative? I see others that sell a 3-4 Oz weight.....will that be enough?
I dont really want to pack an extra pound in my luggage just to weight my camera..Im too heavy now!!!!!
Thanks alot!

For my DC310 I use a single coated ankle weight and zapstrapped it to the strobe arm near the base. weighs practically nothing but just enough to keep my camera & strobe neutral. Dive shop gave it to me. hope this helps,
Les
