I like PLA+ or even PETG for underwater stuff. 85% infill. The PETG doesn't warp in the sun (or hot car) like PLA does, but either works just fine, especially for something like this.

If for some reason you do send it back and are still interested in Orcatorch lights, let me know. I can save you at least 20%
Hey @rob.mwpropane , are you still in the OrcaTorch discount code business?

I need a new focus light and prefer a simple one with a 21700 battery. The OrcaTorch D710V seems like it might do the job. If you can share a discount code with my, I would very much appreciate it!

I got the OrcaTorch D710 a couple of weeks ago and have used it a few times now. I like the simplicity of this light, and the battery life from to 21700 cell is good. I mostly use it on low power, so it should last 3+ hours at that power level.

As mentioned in some previous posts, I also didn't like the included mounting bracket. It didn't seem super secure, it was shorter than I'm used to, and I really much prefer a pivot point on the ball mount as you find with a YS-Mount.

I had some old YS-mounts from old lights, but the brackets would not fit the 710. I designed a custom YS-mount bracket that fits the D710V and reuses the ball and pivot screw from one of the old mounts. This mount is a lot more solid than the included one and is secured with a couple of M3 bolts rather than a plastic screw. I used ASA for the bracket, but PETG might also be appropriate. There is a TPU rubber sleeve between the bracket and light so it's nice and snug.
