WTH!!! Another one?!?! And people keep going on these Egyptian LOBs why?! Clearly there are safety issues in the area.

Ugh WTF! Boat was built in 2022. This keeps happening in Egypt.

This was basically a brand new boat. What on earth is going on in the Red Sea? Do they all have a terrible safety record?
With 17 still missing 12h after the sinking I don’t think we can expect any kind of even semi-happy ending.

It doesn't seem it burned so perhaps it capsized. Liveaboard operator living in Egypt told me that number of boats built recently are actually of poor design, unstable. Well built but poor design. Built too tall for the footprint, perhaps the dry docks limits IDK, rely too much on balast tanks... Can only speculate now but it was quite windy this morning (windy.com) and can imagine if there was problem with pumps plus waves ... let's pray everyone got out
